Loving the rain

August 9, 2013 § Leave a comment

It’s a rainy day here today. I’m really enjoying the change. I always feel the pressure to get outside as soon as possible on nice days. Maybe that’s because of growing up in northern Ireland where warm and sunny days were few and far between, meaning any time the weather was good we were straight out the door! So it’s been nice today to play with Maisie in our PJs (today she discovered how much fun doors can be) and drink lots of tea. And being lazy I’m also pretty happy that my garden is getting watered, and not by me! I’ve been looking through some old photos while sitting on the porch watching the rain, and came across the flowers I made for my cousin Sophie’s wedding way back in 2008. I’m sure she won’t mind if I share them here…..

I worked for Fabulous Flowers in Oxford at the time, and they were kind enough to let me do these flowers on their time…. Thanks Matthew and Gary!

I’m excited to see what else I uncover today…
